We have had a good year in 2007 so far despite the
weather. We played skittles near Telford in February, enjoyed our
annual dinner at the Strwberry Bank Hotel in Meriden in March and in
April we had an excellent drive out and dinner at pub in Foreton then
on to a garden centre for tea. May we had our usual Asparagus
lunch followed by a ride on the train, all in the most appalling rain
but still great fun . June two of our members arranged a BBQ at
their home with a treasure hunt round the cotswolds. that was great
fun again inspite of the heavy rain, but we were able to collect all
the clues without leaving the car, and on our return had an excellent
BBQ, for which the rain stopped just long enough.. We did
unfortunately have to cancel our Annual Concours due to the weather
but it has been postponed until the end of August, when our Chairman
has arranged a BBQ at his house and we will hold the Concours at t
the same time.
Our Autumn Weekend. this year is in Llandridodwells, in
September abd we are looking forward to that, By then perhaps the
Summer will have arrived!
October will see us visiting the Gaydon Heritage Museum,
and Novermber a lunch and AGM.
